Brave the Wave has teamed up with Malibu Boats to provide you the best day on the water! Coming to new stops near you in 2025!
Come learn how to wakesurf from adaptive wakesurfer and 2019 Adaptive Surfing World Champion gold medal team member Lexi Youngberg and various members of Malibu Boats professional riders team!
When Lexi was 16 she lost her leg from a boating accident, but has never lost her love for water sports. Lexi is a below-knee amputee herself and passionate about sharing her love of wakesurfing with others who have physical disabilities. She can't wait to shred with you!!
LIMITED SPACE AVAILABLE for each event!
EVENT WILL INCLUDE:
- Learn the fundamentals of wake surfing, or advance your skills.
- Opportunities to test out the latest prosthetic technologies.
- All adaptive gear needed to shred.
- Community-building with other attendees and families in your area.
- An epic day on the water challenging yourself with something new!
- Provide lunch for all participants and a plus one.
PROFESSIONALS ON-HAND WILL INCLUDE:
- Certified Prosthetist Orthotists (CPO)
- Professional wakesurfing instructors and boat drivers
- Physical Therapists (PT) - depending on the location
Registration is required for individuals with physical disabilities participating in the clinic. Family and friends coming to hangout during the event do not need to register. All participants will be required to sign a waiver. If the participant is under 18, a legal guardian or parent must be present to ride on the boat and sign the waiver.
